Where Kayaking Fun Begins!
Our guided kayak tours, along with some basic instructions will enable you to explore the local waterways and its beautiful natural surroundings. We love taking out families, and small or large groups. On our tours, we provide Class III Personal Flotation Devices and quality kayaks and paddles. Check out the rest of our site for more information, and join us for a relaxing kayak tour. We look forward to paddling with you soon!
Lofton Creek is quickly becoming one of our most popular tours. Just minutes from Amelia Island, this tour is an easy and relaxing 2-hour paddle. A guided tour on this tidal creek offers opportunities to see wildlife, majestic cypress trees, flowers, and more. It’s an excellent choice for anyone, but especially those who may not have a lot of time.
One of our newest 2-hour paddles is Egan’s Creek, located on the tidal marshes of Amelia Island. This guided tour offers some of the best shore bird watching around, with opportunities to see Herons, Roseate Spoon Bills, Egrets, and Cormorants to name a few. Add a view of the Amelia Island Lighthouse and the tree line of Fort Clinch State Park, and you have a recipe for an awesome paddle!
Bordering the west side of Amelia Island is the Intracoastal Waterway, the Amelia River. Paddlers embark on our 2-hour guided tour from Fernandina Beach to get a front and center view of our beautiful scenic area, with an opportunity to see wading birds, ospreys, eagles, dolphins, and manatees, depending on the season.
As an option to our Amelia River tour, we are offering 3 and 5-hour guided kayak trips to Cumberland Island National Seashore. Paddling options include a water front view of Amelia Island’s historic Fort Clinch, then on to Cumberland Island National Seashore, where guests can experience the beautiful coastal atmosphere that this island has to offer. Stop off on Cumberland’s beach and/or paddle some of Cumberland’s inland waterways where wild horses can often be seen along with the ruins of the Carnegie mansion.
This tour is considered a day trip, consisting of a 5-hour paddle with a 2-hour round trip travel time from Amelia Island, Florida, or our guests may meet our guide on site. Enjoy lunch at a secluded wilderness area. Paddle through what looks like a fantasy world – mysterious and wild. See beautiful Cypress trees draped with Spanish moss, and have opportunities to see wildlife in their natural habitat. Bring your camera!
Watching the sunset from the downtown Fernandina Beach marina on Amelia Island is becoming quite popular with visitors and locals alike. Depending on the current, we’ll paddle north or south on this river, with Amelia Island’s fabulous sunset at our shoulder.
We are excited to offer a paddle on the scenic St. Marys River! Our guided tour is a great 4-5 hour paddle, with a 1 1/2 hour round trip travel time from Amelia Island, Florida; or guests may meet our guide at a prearranged location. Paddle alongside dense forests that line both sides of this peaceful river. Along the way, guests have the opportunity to stop for lunch and swim.
Our Suwannee River tours are for the adventurous, but oh my, are they ever worth it! We offer a day trip which consists of a 5 to 6-hour paddle, with a 4-hour round trip travel time from Amelia Island. Guests may also arrange to meet our guides at a predetermined location. On this day trip, we stop for lunch on the banks of the Big Shoals area of the Suwannee. Big Shoals is the largest white water rapids in Florida. We also offer overnight camping trips where we use screened enclosures and bath facilities. Our guides are happy to assist you in customizing your trip for an excellent time on the river. The nostalgic Suwannee River is a true wilderness experience that offers opportunities to see wildlife, ancient limestone walls, and majestic Cypress trees. It’s where time stands still.
