Brief overview of some of the cruises available:

Cumberland Island Tour
10:30 am, 7 days per week in the Spring, Summer & Fall. 6 days per week in the Winter.
One of our most popular tours, this excursion offers an extensive and rich history of Amelia and Cumberland Island with views of wildlife along the way. We cruise by Fernandina’s shrimp boats, historic Old Towne and Ft. Clinch to the wild horses of Cumberland Island, ruins of the Carnegie Dungeoness Mansion and the Greyfield Inn. Our historians will share the colorful stories that define the character of this unique part of the world. Reservations are recommended.

Beach Creek Tour
2:30 pm, 7 days per week in the Spring, Summer & Fall. 6 days per week in the Winter.
This afternoon tour is a nice blend of history and nature, including a trip up Beach Creek with a beautiful view of the salt marshes and bird life of Cumberland Island. It offers a close up view of the ruins of the Dungeoness Mansion and takes you literally inside Cumberland Island. Reservations are recommended.

Family Friendly Sunset Tour
7 days per week in the Spring, Summer & Fall, 6 days per week in the Winter, times vary
This tour offers a relaxing way for the whole family to take in Florida’s first sunset and hear an abbreviated history of the area.
Reservations are recommended.

Adult Twilight BYOB Cruise
Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays in the Summer and Fridays & Saturdays only in the Spring and Fall, times vary.
This sunset cruise is designed especially for adults and is one of the finest ways to end the day or begin the night. The view on the Cumberland Sound can be spectacular. Enjoy a glass of your favorite BYOB beverage and listen to some of Fernandina’s finest local musicians on board. With the wind in your hair and the smell of sweet salt air, you will float away to a tropical paradise where all of your worries disappear and a sense of relaxation and appreciation of nature takes over you.
Advance purchase is required.

Shrimping Eco Tour
Seasonal Cruise available on Thursday, Friday & Saturday during the Summer and on Saturdays only in September.
An interactive exploration of the St. Marys River Basin, our guests will be coached on the operation of an Otter Trawl shrimp net. Historically developed in Fernandina, this net is similar to the nets used by the commercial shrimp industry today. Deploying and retrieving the net is part of the hands-on experience. The catch will then be displayed in an on-board aquarium and each of the creatures will be identified and released back into the wild. We continue to explore the backwaters and tidal creeks that make up this estuary before returning to historic Fernandina Beach. Reservations are recommended.

Amelia River Cruises Kids Tours
Amelia River Cruises offer a unique experience to school and summer camp children of all ages. The river cruises offer children and young adults the opportunity to learn about the rich history of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia, while coming face-to-face with enchanting wildlife such as dolphins, manatees and the wild horses of Cumberland Island National Seashore.
